Every contribution helps single mothers and women in need move closer to independence and hope
We believe in practical, hands-on approaches that empower women to thrive with dignity and independence. Our work is built around four key pillars:
We start by listening to women’s stories and challenges, ensuring that every program addresses their real needs.
Through training, mentoring, and workshops, we equip women with tools for personal, financial, and professional growth.
We provide resources across family, health, mental wellness, and legal aid—because true empowerment goes beyond income.
We foster networks of sisterhood and resilience, where women support, uplift, and grow together.

Before WOR, I was juggling bills and doubts. The financial literacy sessions showed me exactly how to budget and price my products, and my mentor kept me accountable each week. I now run a steady home-based kuih business from Bedok and can cover my children’s school needs without fear. For the first time, I’m planning, not just surviving
I joined the self-development workshops feeling invisible. Step by step, WOR helped me rebuild confidence—goal setting, public speaking, and setting healthy boundaries. Today I facilitate a peer circle in Jurong, and seeing other women light up when they realise their own strength is the best reward. WOR didn’t just change me; it equipped me to uplift others.
When life got heavy, anxiety followed me everywhere. The mental wellness workshops taught me simple routines—breathwork, journaling, asking for help—and reminded me I’m not alone. My relationship with my kids has improved so much; our home feels calmer. WOR gave me practical tools and a sisterhood that keeps me going on tough days
