Women Of Resilience is a Singapore-based non-profit that empowers women—especially single mothers and women in distress—through holistic programs in self-development, entrepreneurship, parenting, mental wellness, and legal support.

Yes — eligible donations to WOR are tax-deductible. We issue official receipts for all donations which you can use for tax filings. Please keep your receipt and contact us if you need further documentation.

 

 

Our programs are open to all women. We prioritise single mothers and women in vulnerable situations but welcome participants from all backgrounds.

Donations fund our core programs—training, mentorship, materials, microgrants, and community events—as well as operational costs that keep services accessible and free or subsidised for women in need.

Volunteer FAQs

Complete the volunteer form on our Get Involved page and tell us your skills, availability, and preferred roles (mentoring, workshop facilitation, admin, events). Our team will match you with a suitable opportunity.

Common roles include mentors, workshop facilitators, event support, admin help, marketing support, and marketplace volunteers for our showcases.

 

Yes. All volunteers receive an orientation and role-specific briefing. For mentoring or facilitation roles, we provide additional training and resources.

 

Yes — we offer remote volunteering options such as online mentoring, digital marketing support, content creation, and virtual workshops depending on project needs.

Program FAQs

We run programs across five pillars: Personal Empowerment, Economic Independence (financial literacy & business training), Family & Wellbeing (parenting & mental wellness), Community & Advocacy, and Legal Aid Clinics.

 

Visit the Programs page, choose the program you’re interested in, and click “Apply” or “Register.” You can also contact us via the Contact page for help with registration.

 

Many of our community programs and clinics are free or subsidised. Some specialised courses may have a nominal fee; financial assistance is available for those who need it.

 

Yes. We provide follow-up mentoring, peer groups, market showcases for entrepreneurs, and referrals to partners for counselling or legal support to ensure lasting outcomes.
